How to earn platinum: five ways and what each is worth today
There are not many ways and none of them are secret. What changes is how much each one is worth today, and that moves every night.
Prices in this guide are as of September 30, 2026. They are recalculated twice a day, but the market moves faster, so check the current price on warframe.market before you trade.
1 Sell whole prime sets
The most direct way and the dullest: build the set, list it, sell it. There are 160 sets with a live price right now, the median is 55p, and 9 of them are over a hundred. The dearest is Vectis Prime 140p.
The catch. Dull is why it works: demand for assembled sets is constant and there is almost nothing to haggle about.

2 Bank ducats and wait for Baro
Baro pays a fixed number of ducats for a prime part whatever the market thinks of it, so the cheap parts are the ones worth buying: the best rate right now is 25 ducats per platinum.
The catch. Ducats are not platinum. They only turn into it through whatever Baro brings, and that is a lottery every two weeks.

3 Crack relics
A crack is worth what falls out of it. The best relic of those currently dropping returns 8.6p (Axi V10) per radiant crack.
The catch. That is an average over many cracks, not a promise about one. Radiant costs forma and time, and on a cheap relic it does not pay for itself.

4 Buy the parts, sell the set
A set and its parts are two different goods with two different prices, and they drift apart. Right now 84 items have parts adding up to more than five platinum below the assembled set, 986.5p across all of them.
The catch. The gap is not free: it is several trades instead of one, and waiting for a seller of each part.

5 Syndicate standing
Standing accrues from missions and is spent on things that sell. The question is always the same: how much platinum comes out of a thousand standing. Across the six syndicates that share one standing the answer lands in a narrow band, 0.80p to 2.50p per thousand, and the best offer right now is Shattering Justice, 25,000 standing for 62.5p (Steel Meridian).
The catch. Augments trade thinly, most of them once or twice a day, so the price there is a guide rather than a fact. And the rate covers those six syndicates only: Kahl, Conclave and the open worlds charge their own currencies on their own scales, and one number cannot compare them.
